WHAT IS MIS RUMBOS?

A travel journal to make with your friends

Mis Rumbos is a free, collaborative travel journal. You create a trip with your friends or family, everyone keeps their own memories and opinions private and, at the end, you see the group's results. You also unlock badges for the places you visit, starting with Colombia's 33 departments.

01 — TRAVEL

Build the trip with the people who lived it

Create a trip, invite your group and add countries, cities and places with real search. Everyone joins with their own account: nobody has to build it all alone.

  • Route map with every stop
  • Up to 10 people per trip
  • Works offline and syncs when you're back
Example: a trip card for a European route with its numbered stops, participants and totals.

02 — REMEMBER

Your memory first. The group's, after.

Everyone saves their own moment and their own photo at each place. Then you compare two at a time —“which did you like more?”— and the ranking shows up once everyone is done.

  • Your answers stay private until you complete yours
  • Group results: averages, never who voted what
Example: a comparison between two trip photos and the group ranking, with individual votes hidden.

RATINGS

Everything they rated, in one place

Places, photos, food and moments: everyone rates their own and the trip's ranking builds itself, no surveys or group chats needed.

  • Places: automatic ranking from everyone's score
  • Photos and Moments: compared two at a time, most votes wins
  • Food: the trip's favorite dish, no separate survey

FOR FOODIES

Which dish won the trip?

Log what you tried in each region and compare two at a time: cholao or açaí? See which local dishes are still on your list and who already tried them.

  • Local dishes by region: tried or still to try
  • Two-at-a-time dish comparison, just like photos
  • Food badges: savory, sweet, drinks and local hunter
Example: a comparison between two dishes, a cholao and an açaí, and a list of Valle del Cauca local dishes the group has tried.

03 — UNLOCK

Colombia, department by department

Every place you visit unlocks an illustrated badge. Cover all 33 departments, complete regions and watch your map fill up.

  • What to see in every region and city, free and without an account
  • One illustrated badge for every place visited
  • Your progress by department, on a real map
Example: a map of Colombia with 14 of 33 departments explored and medallions of unlocked places.

Real privacy, not a promise

It's enforced in the database, not just on screen.

  • Your answers are yours

Nobody sees what you answered until you complete yours.

  • Aggregated, never individual

The group sees averages and counts, never who answered what.

  • Identity protected

In public only your @username and the avatar you choose appear.

  • You decide what gets shared

Your trips are private by default, trip by trip.

Frequently asked questions

What is Mis Rumbos?

It's a free, collaborative travel journal: you create a trip with your friends or family, everyone keeps their own memories and opinions private and, at the end, you see the group's results. You also unlock badges for the places you visit.

Can I use it with my friends or family?

Yes. You create a trip, invite the people who lived it by link or email and everyone records their photos and answers with their own account. A trip holds up to 10 people.

Are my answers public?

No. Your individual answers are private: nobody in the group sees them until yours are complete, and only the group average shows up.

What can I discover about Colombia?

Free guides to what to see and eat in each region and city of Colombia, a map of its 33 departments and an illustrated badge for every place you visit.

Do I need an account to see the Colombia guides?

No. The Colombia guides are public and free. You need an account to create trips, keep your memories and unlock badges.

How much does it cost and what is the Colombia Pass?

Creating your account, building trips and saving everything is free. The Colombia Pass is optional extra content (department detail, goals, typical flavors and themed collections, each with its own badge), a one-time payment with no subscription; whatever you already earned for free is yours to keep.

Does it work offline?

Yes. It's built for real travel: the app saves locally and syncs when you're back online. It can also be installed on your phone's home screen.

Do you sell my data?

Nothing is sold today. If that ever changes, the Privacy Policy describes it and an opt-out will exist before it happens.
